Josep Maria Ganyet i Cirera (Vic, 1965) is a computer engineer. Licensed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1988, he has specialized in artificial intelligence. He began his professional career with IBM and Deutsche Bank in human interaction design. He also worked on online advertising for the El Sindicato agency (currently, of the Havas group) and created the Hoymesiento.com portal.In 1994 he founded his first Internet company, Ars Virtualis. Currently, he is the CEO and co-founder of the Mortensen.co studio and participates in the Soundkik start-up. At the same time, he is a professor of new media in the studies of Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University. He collaborates in El món with RAC 1, La Vanguardia and Barcelona TV, and is a consultant for Gotomedia. In 1998 he published the book Human Interaction with Computers (UOC).
